Many individuals from low social economic back ground keep themselves away from sophisticated environment of health care delivery system. This may be anxiety of past experiences, limited ability to afford the treatment and inability to cope up with complex organisational structure.

This leads to many complications serious complications of the diseases. Many of these have bad prognosis and high cost of treatment.  However, same disease can be prevented or treated at very low cost if detected early and manged appropriately at right time. Often these diseases may not need very costly investigation but needs dedicated patient care, quality clinical acumen, continuous service and timely referral.
